Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Polyurethane Spray Technician to join our manufacturing and industrial coating team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying high-quality polyurethane coatings, and ensuring that finished products meet strict quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with spray equipment, and a commitment to safety and precision. Responsibilities
- Operate Graco 2-part Spray machines and other application equipment to apply polyurethane coatings with precision.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to support surface preparation and finishing processes.
- Handle materials safely within warehouse environments, including materials handling and proper storage of chemicals.
- Maintain adherence to all safety protocols by consistently using personal protective equipment such as respirators, PPE suits, gloves, and eye protection.
- Conduct visual color comparisons and quality inspections to verify coating consistency and finish standards.
- Support maintenance of machinery to ensure optimal operation.
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency while maintaining high-quality output.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly or fabrication tasks that require skilled coating application.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to spray equipment operation.
- Familiarity with quality standards in production environments to ensure consistent finish quality.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other machinery safely.
- Knowledge of spray gun cleaning and reseal. (Will train if necessary)
- Knowledge of materials handling procedures within warehouse or manufacturing settings.
- Competence in using precision measuring instruments and basic math for accurate coating application.
- Experience with lean manufacturing practices aimed at reducing waste while maintaining high standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while adhering strictly to respiratory protection protocols and PPE use.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
