Responsibilities
- Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children.

- Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques to promote respectful interactions and self-regulation.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong partnerships.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality childcare and educational standards are maintained.
- Conduct assessments of child development using standardized testing methods and document progress for individual planning.
- Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols such as first aid and CPR certifications.
- Collaborate with specialists in special education or early intervention when supporting children with additional needs.
- Maintain organized classroom environments that promote learning in areas such as literacy education, math skills, physical education, and childhood development instruction.
- Stay current on best practices in early childhood education, including preschool teaching strategies and classroom management techniques.
Skills
- Extensive experience working with children across various developmental stages in daycare or preschool settings.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development tailored to early childhood education standards.

- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and community partners.
