Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Hotel Night Auditor to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will oversee overnight front desk operations, ensure accurate financial record-keeping through night audit procedures, and deliver exceptional guest services during nighttime hours. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth hotel operations while creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Duties
- Conduct the nightly audit process using OPERA hotel management software to verify all financial transactions and ensure accuracy of daily reports
- Greet and assist guests arriving or departing during overnight hours with professionalism and courtesy
- Handle guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems, providing information about hotel services and local attractions
- Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and resolving guest concerns with excellent customer service skills
- Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns, ensuring guest safety at all times
- Maintain detailed records of night audit activities, incident reports, and shift logs for accountability and compliance
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest requests or facility issues efficiently
Skills
- Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles and front desk operations
- Experience with hotel management systems such as OPERA is highly preferred
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse guests
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and guest relations best practices
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems with proper phone etiquette
- Resort or hotel experience is advantageous for understanding guest expectations in a hospitality setting
Pay: $13.00 - $13.25 per hour
