As a Program Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring high-quality early childhood education services across our Head Start program. You will:

Supervise and coach Head Start teachers

Provide clear guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunities
-
Support implementation of the Creative Curriculum and TSG Online Assessment System
-
Review classroom and child outcome data to strengthen learning experiences
-
Conduct Family Reviews and collaborate with all program departments
-
Visit classrooms to monitor health, safety, and regulatory compliance
-
Identify classroom supply and material needs
-
Help staff set goals through supportive supervision practices

Foster inclusive environments that honor each family's culture and language

Stay current with best practices through ongoing professional development

Bachelor's degree in:
-
Child Development
-
Early Childhood Education
-
Family and Consumer Studies
-
Or a related field with an emphasis in early childhood essential topics

Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience

Valid driver's license
-
Ability to complete and maintain Infant/Toddler and Preschool CLASS certification within the first 3 months of employment

Previous Head Start experience

Current Infant/Toddler and Preschool CLASS certification

Bilingual in languages spoken by families served by the program
