Modhaus LLC is a growing home improvement company serving the Hampton Roads area. We are looking for a dependable, experienced, and self-motivated individual who can represent our company professionally, manage projects in the field, and help us continue delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both working with clients and completing hands-on home improvement projects.
Responsibilities
- Meet with homeowners to evaluate repair and renovation projects.
- Prepare accurate project scopes and communicate findings to our office.
- Take measurements, photos, and document job requirements.
- Perform a variety of home repairs and improvement projects when appropriate.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors when necessary.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets company standards.
- Keep projects organized and communicate progress throughout each job.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home improvement, remodeling, construction, or handyman services.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction and repair methods.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to identify project needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Comfortable using a smartphone for photos, notes, and communication.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable personal vehicle (daily travel throughout Hampton Roads is required).
- Ability to lift materials and perform physical work as needed.
Compensation
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position.
Compensation is performance-based and varies depending on experience, project management responsibilities, completed work, and commissions earned.
