Modern, updated, ground floor private practice in a commercial storefront on a nice block seeking a dental assistant full time (Mon-Fri). Seeking a punctual, reliable candidate.
Job Summary:
Dental assistant for insurance/PPO based dental office
General Dentistry (crown/bridge, Invisalign, extractions, dentures, sedation/general anesthesia, and some house call/hospital OR). Owner has interest in doing implant placement and endo as practice grows.
Be able to/willing to learn:
-Work as sole assistant in practice
-Taking quality radiographs
-Maintaining equipment/lines
-Instrument sterilization
-4 handed dentistry
-Taking vital signs
-Electronic charting with OpenDental software
-Using Trios digital scanner
-Taking intraoral photos
Job Requirements:
CPR certification
Infection Control Certificate
Coronal Polishing Certificate (preferred)

Located at 19/Castro in the Castro neighborhood, ground floor storefront
Large, spacious office with private operatory rooms
2 equipped operatories with plans to equip 2 more in the future

Plumbed nitrous/oxygen
Solo dentist/owner with 10 years of practice experience
This is a new office that has been open for less than 2 years but is growing and busy. This position is for the sole dental assistant in the office, and therefore it is important that candidates be willing to perform a full spectrum of assisting duties.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour
