Brophy Air is currently looking for a reliable and seasoned Chiller Technician to support our expanding operations in Miami, Florida. We are searching for an HVAC expert who possesses deep technical proficiency in the repair, maintenance, and diagnostics of industrial and commercial mechanical systems. Successful applicants will demonstrate a proven track record of working directly with cooling towers, chillers, water pumps, boilers, and variable frequency drives.
Core Duties

Identify and resolve mechanical issues to ensure commercial and industrial chillers operate at peak efficiency

Provide expert maintenance for cooling towers, boiler systems, pumps, and VFD hardware

Execute routine preventative maintenance schedules and respond to urgent service requests

Analyze and rectify complex electrical and mechanical malfunctions within HVAC systems

Utilize technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to guide repair processes

Document service activities precisely to keep management and clients informed of system status

Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly following local regulations and internal protocols

Deliver high-quality service experiences to clients while representing the company on-site
Professional Requirements

At least five years of dedicated experience within the commercial or industrial HVAC sector

Comprehensive technical expertise regarding:

Chiller units

Boiler systems
-
Cooling tower infrastructure

Water pump assemblies

Variable Frequency Drives

Mechanical and electrical fault finding

Possession of a current EPA Certification

A clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
