Job Summary
Maintains an inventory of raw materials in stock, on order, and work-in-process in production. Provides inventory information to production schedulers and may investigate inventory accuracy. Reorder materials or issues reorders requests when appropriate.
Essential Job Functions
- Support the production process by coordinating the movement of material into, within and out to manufacturing in a timely and professional manner
- Review planned time off- plan and communicate coverage and concerns during daily production meeting
- Review payroll and PTO requests
- Review daily production schedule and ensure all jobs are covered in the market and receiving area to confirm that production and manufacturing commitments are achieved
- Communicate to supervisor/manager if there is shortage and/or overage in labor resources
- Perform job completions in a timely manner
- Drive team to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area as established through 5S standards
- Review weekly 5S audit with team and resolve 5S issues for your area
- Document any safety or environmental issues through incident reporting procedures and participate in safety investigations
- Evaluate status of picking, return to stock, and cycle counting processes
- Capture issues on the material flow countermeasure board, and immediately communicate issues to responsible parties in departments span of control
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and report information to finance weekly
- Operate a variety of equipment applicable within assigned area (i.e., CRTs, forklifts, etc.).
- Create, train, and audit to standard work documents and subsequent work instructions for all primary job functions
- Review and audit material from negative on hand report daily
- Review and process scrap as needed
- Communicate daily during pre-shift meeting important announcements, metrics, and pertinent company communications to team
- Attend L10 department meetings
- Attend production, cell board, and ship board meetings daily escalating inventory and resource constraints as needed
- Provides coaching and proper documentation on performance
- Participate in quarterly and end of the year performance reviews
- Participate in the requisition and onboarding of new employees
- Drive a continuous improvement culture by involving employees in problem solving, decision making, and recognizing them for outstanding work during daily pre-shift communication meetings and ongoing developmental 1:1’s

Requirements
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Forklift training and certification required
- Ability to lift and perform other physically demanding tasks associated with material handling and receiving
- Accurate counting skill
- Some computer skills
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with team members
Pay: $23.50 - $25.50 per hour
