Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings to enhance their experience
- Manage POS system for order processing, billing, and cash handling accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
- Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep offerings fresh and exciting
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and place orders to ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while adhering to proper cashiering procedures and retail math principles
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant, fine dining establishment, or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for seamless order management
- Demonstrated expertise in cocktail creation, beverage recipe development, wine knowledge, and craft beer service
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Experience with food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper sanitation practices
- Familiarity with catering, banquet service, or food industry operations is highly desirable
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in serving beverages and handling transactions
