Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Winch Design Specialist to join our creative team. Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual sketches and detailed drawings of winch components using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to ensure accuracy and manufacturability
- Create visual presentations and graphic illustrations utilizing Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and other graphic design software to communicate design ideas effectively
- Incorporate principles of color theory, vector illustration, and artistic concept development into design projects to enhance visual appeal
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and marketing teams to align design specifications with technical requirements and market trends
- Utilize 3D modeling software to visualize complex winch assemblies and simulate functional performance before production
- Apply knowledge of textiles in industrial design when integrating fabric or flexible materials into winch systems where applicable
- Support product lifecycle management by updating designs based on testing feedback, user insights, and evolving industry standards
- Demonstrate proficiency in garment construction techniques or sewing skills when designing innovative protective covers or aesthetic accessories for winches
- Engage in merchandising strategies by creating compelling visual content for product presentations and promotional materials
- Maintain detailed documentation of design iterations, revisions, and specifications throughout the development process
Experience
- Proven experience in professional art or industrial design with a strong portfolio showcasing technical drawings, graphic illustrations, and conceptual sketches
- Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) along with proficiency in CAD software for precise technical drawings
- Familiarity with graphic design illustration techniques, vector illustration, and color theory principles applied within industrial or product design contexts
- Hands-on experience with sewing machines or garment construction techniques relevant to integrating textiles into product designs
- Practical understanding of fashion design principles as they relate to functional aesthetics in industrial applications
- Experience working with 3D modeling software to develop detailed prototypes or visualizations of mechanical systems such as winches
- Strong cross-functional communication skills to collaborate effectively across engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and retail teams
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management processes to oversee the progression from concept through production and merchandising
- Background in theater experience or illustration that enhances creative storytelling through visual design is a plus
