About the Role
As ENQOR's Studio Manager, you will lead the daily operations of our growing boutique studio while helping maintain its exceptional quality. This is a dynamic, hands-on leadership position. You will oversee studio operations, lead the front desk team, uphold our elite teaching methodology, support client retention, and mentor our instructor team.
This role is ideal for an experienced fitness professional who enjoys coaching people, managing systems, building culture, and remaining deeply connected to clients through teaching. You'll work directly alongside the Studio Owner and play a significant role in the daily success of the business.

Responsibilities
Studio Operations & Leadership
- Lead the daily operations of the studio while maintaining a premium standard of professionalism.
- Manage instructor schedules and coordinate substitute coverage.
- Supervise, coach, and support the front desk team.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding for instructors and front desk staff.
- Ensure studio cleanliness, organization, equipment safety, and operational excellence.
- Maintain a consistently exceptional, premium client experience.
Instructor Leadership & Teaching
- Teach 8–10 athletic Reformer Pilates and Mat Pilates classes per week that reflect ENQOR's coaching philosophy.
- Deliver clear cueing, technical coaching, safe progressions, and intentional programming.
- Help maintain, refine, and uphold ENQOR's high-quality teaching methodology.
- Mentor instructors through coaching, class observations, and constructive feedback.
- Ensure consistency across instructor performance and teaching standards.
Client Experience & Studio Growth
- Support membership sales and client retention initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with members and create an exceptional studio culture.
- Assist with local partnerships, community outreach, studio events, and pop-up activations.
- Represent ENQOR professionally within the Wellington community.
Schedule & Availability
- Full-Time (40 hours per week): Your schedule includes 8–10 hours of class instruction, with the remaining hours dedicated to studio management and operations.
- Must have availability for standard studio shifts, which include a mix of mornings, evenings, and weekend rotations.
Candidate Traits & Qualifications
Required:
- 1–2+ years of management experience (fitness, retail, hospitality, or boutique wellness preferred).
- Reformer Pilates and/or Mat Pilates Certification.
- Pilates teaching experience (Reformer and Mat) with a strong understanding of anatomy, alignment, and form.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification.
- Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-first mindset.
Preferred:
- Yoga teaching experience is a plus.
- Experience with boutique fitness software (Example: Arketa, Mindbody, Mariana Tek, etc.).
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or developing instructors.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: $48,000 annual base salary plus up to $12,000 in performance bonuses, with earning potential of $60,000+ annually.
