KI USA is seeking a safety focused, skilled and motivated Tool and Die Technician for 2nd shift.
Must have previous Tool & Die experience in metal stamping
Tool and Die Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in metal stamping processes. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting preventive and corrective die maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure efficient production.
- Repairing and troubleshooting tools and dies to maintain optimal performance.
- Transferring presses to Tandem and Progressive dies.
- Reading blueprints and schematics to plan repairs and fabricate components.
- Collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve tooling performance.
Experience on the following machines:
- Grinder
- Lathe
- Radial arm drill press
- Milling Machine
- Various Surface Grinders
- Band Saw/Cut off saw
- Overhead Crane
- CNC ProtoTrac*
- Precision measuring devices
- Along with various other machines normally associated with the day-to-day operation of the die maintenance shop.
The ideal candidate must posses and can satisfactorily demonstrate in-depth blueprint reading and comprehension skills. Candidate must be able to understand advanced mechanics of dies associated with blank, progressive, tandem, and/or secondary press operations. Must be flexible/willing to work OT including weekends and holidays & be flexible for any shift.

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
