ACE Accounting Services, based out of Brick, New Jersey, has a current opening for a full time Accounts Payable (A/P) Specialist. This is a W2 position and as such we can only hire in states where we are registered as a employer.
This is a fully remote position and requires applicant to have their own computer and home office set up, including 2 monitors.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling
- Produce full-cycle A/P including entering bills for payments, processing expense reports, preparing checks for approved payments, submitting ACH payments for vendors
- Manage licensing, permit renewals, and regulatory compliance activities, ensuring timely submissions and adherence to applicable requirements
- Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies
-Obtain & maintain W9 files for clients
- Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department
- Perform special projects as assigned
The ideal candidate will exhibit:
- Prior experience in an A/P role required (2+ years)
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
- Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
- Microsoft Excel experience required
- Detail oriented and have the ability work independently
- 1099 Filing a plus
Hourly rate dependent on experience
