Position Overview
Almi Interiors is seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to oversee interior design and millwork projects from conception through completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, design knowledge, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects while maintaining schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
This role requires a hands-on professional who can manage project execution while also contributing to the design development process, including custom cabinetry, furniture, and interior spaces.
Key Responsibilities
● Manage multiple interior design and millwork projects from initial concept through installation and project completion.
● Coordinate project schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
● Collaborate with clients, designers, architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure project success.
● Participate in the design and development of custom cabinetry, millwork, furniture, and interior spaces.
● Create and review design drawings, specifications, and project documentation using AutoCAD.
● Utilize Winner (20/20) software for cabinetry and kitchen design development.
● Conduct site visits, field measurements, and project meetings as required.
● Track project progress and proactively address issues to maintain timelines and budgets.
● Manage procurement, fabrication schedules, and installation coordination.
● Ensure all designs and project deliverables meet company quality standards.
● Prepare project reports and provide regular updates to management and clients.
Qualifications
● Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field preferred; not required if the candidate has relevant professional experience.
● Minimum of 2 years of experience managing interior design, cabinetry, millwork, or furniture projects.
● Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to review and understand technical drawings.
● Experience with Winner (20/20) software is preferred.
● Strong understanding of interior design, custom cabinetry, furniture, and construction processes.
● Excellent organizational, leadership, and multitasking abilities.
● Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
● Fluent in English.
● Must be available to travel within and outside the United States as needed.
● Valid driver’s license and passport preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
● Competitive salary: $42,000 – $52,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
