Behavioral Health Technician for PHP/IOP program. Come join our team!
Duties:
- Assist with the implementation of program schedule and rules
- Provide support to clients in early recovery
- Provide transportation for clients to meetings or appointments
- Observe and report client progress, concerns or changes to the clinical team
- Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Conduct various tasks relating to the substance use treatment program operations including light cleaning, inventory, recordkeeping, safety checks etc
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma/GED required (with proof)
- Must possess or be working toward a Florida Board Certification for Behavioral Health Technicians
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Previous experience working with substance use treatment population
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Must have a valid license to drive with no major moving violations in past 3 yrs
