Retail Health and Wellness Associate (Full-time or Part-time)

Job Description and Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service; ensure customer needs are met in a friendly and timely fashion.
- Provide customers with helpful information and guidance about nutritional and herbal supplements, essential oils, and natural body care products.
- Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) register to check-out customers.
- Stock merchandise and assist with inventory management
- Maintain store appearance, including cleaning duties.
- Other misc. duties necessary to assist customers and coworkers.
Shifts will vary in time and length between 9:00am-6:30pm M-F and 8:30-12noon on Saturdays. Rotating weekend shifts will be required. The position often requires working on your feet for up to eight hours and some light lifting, approximately 10-15lbs.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- High energy; passion for helping others in their pursuit of health and wellness; an outgoing, friendly personality
- Enthusiasm for our products, core values, and company philosophy
- Demonstrated interest and knowledge of nutritional and herbal supplements, essential oils and other natural health products
- Previous customer service and merchandising experience in retail is a plus
- Must be self-motivated! Upon completion of training, you should be able to follow established procedures and instructions independently
- Good basic math, verbal and written communication skills; bilingual abilities a plus
- Strong organizational skills
- Basic proficiency with computer applications and programs including email, Microsoft Office, and point-of-sale software.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time (with full benefits) or Part-time (approx 25hrs/week plus paid time off, paid holidays, employee discount, 401K))
