Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide support and assistance to individuals in our small facility. This role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As a Caregiver, you will be a trusted helper, ensuring that clients receive the highest quality of care tailored to their unique needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Support patients with mobility and transfer methods using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer techniques.
- Monitor vital signs, observe patient conditions, and report any changes to nurse promptly.
- Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking, as needed.
- Administer medications accurately following care plans while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and confidentiality.
- Provide emotional support, and engage clients in activities to enhance mental well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment for clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a caregiver in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings.
- Knowledge of dementia care, memory care, hospice care.
- Ability to observe patients carefully for changes in condition and communicate effectively with clients and nurse.
- Familiarity with patient monitoring tools such as vital signs measurement and medication administration protocols.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient personal care assistance while respecting client dignity.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
