We are currently seeking a full-time Distribution Technician to join our Materials Management Team. This role involves the end-to-end management of medical supplies—from accurate receiving and verification of stock to organized storage and prompt, precise fulfillment of requisitions.

Maintain Hospital inventory supply in manner that avoids supply excess or shortage and thus optimizes Hospital operations efficiency.
Receive purchased stock and ensure that such stock is congruent with complementary purchase orders and packing slips.
Maintain inventory stock area in an orderly and organized manner.
Assist Hospital departments with stocking and accurately locating and retrieving items within the inventory stock.
Ensure prompt satisfaction with supply requisitions and requests made via the Hospital electronic service desk.
Perform duties associated with complete daily stocking of Nursing Department patient care supplies, including unpacking, labeling, and placement of such supplies.
Fulfill orders requested by authorized Hospital staff members, and complete reconciliation indicated during such fulfillment.
Perform other duties assigned by Supply Chain Director or Chief Operations Officer.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
One year of experience working in a warehouse or retail setting stocking inventory.
Medical terminology a plus but not required.
Must have a valid Oregon driver’s license and meet the hospital Motor Vehicle Record policy.
Ability to perform moderately demanding physical tasks, including walking, sitting, standing, lifting,
Squatting, bending, twisting, crawling, kneeling, climbing, and driving
Ability to lift loads of up to fifty pounds
Ability, with assistance from coworkers, to lift, transfer, or reposition an adult person
Ability to cope with emotional stress and with persons who are under stress
Ability to perform fine motor skills, including grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation
Ability to use feet to operate machinery
Ability to clearly hear telephone conversation, verbal conversation, and alarm activation
Possession of visual acuity and color perception adequate to read equipment gauges and dials, perceive changes in patient skin color, and perform other job-related tasks
Ability to tolerate exposure to fumes, offensive odors, and high noise levels
Ability to handle potentially hazardous material, including blood, bodily secretions, electrical equipment, hazardous chemicals, explosives, and infectious materials
Ability to distinguish between extremes of temperature
