American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN First Assistant (RNFA) for an Endovascular OR position in Saint Louis, MO, requiring at least 1 year of endovascular OR RNFA experience on a day shift 4x10 schedule.

Endovascular Operating Room (Endovascular Lab) setting within a hospital environment

Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM)

13-week contract

On-call required 24 hours per day on weekends

Floating to other OR units as needed

EMR: Epic
-
Active RN license — must meet eligibility requirements for Missouri licensure or hold a current MO or Compact RN license

Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required

CNOR certification preferred
-
Minimum 1 year of recent Endovascular OR RNFA experience required

Scrub experience preferred
-
Valid U.S. Social Security Number required

No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Circulates and/or scrubs procedures in the Endovascular OR/Endovascular Lab

Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Collaborates with RN circulators and perioperative staff to develop and implement patient care plans throughout the entire perioperative experience

Applies advanced principles of asepsis, infection control, wound healing, and wound classification
-
Demonstrates working knowledge of wound exposure and hemostasis techniques, including use of manual methods, instruments, and chemical agents

Scrubs are provided by the facility

Flu vaccination is required for the November 1 – April 1 period; declinations are not accepted

Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment

Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a reduced bill rate
-
The facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center and a Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center
