Part-Time Board-Certified Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine)

Schedule: Fridays | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified Physician specializing in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine to provide comprehensive preventive health evaluations in a concierge medical practice. This role offers the opportunity to focus on personalized patient care in a collaborative clinical environment, free from the demands of traditional insurance-based practice.
The physician will see approximately 12-15 patients per day, performing executive-style physical examinations and helping patients better understand their current health and future wellness goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive annual physical examinations for approximately 12-15 patients during each clinic day.
- Evaluate patient histories, diagnostic findings, and laboratory reports to develop an overall picture of each patient's health.
- Explain examination results in a clear, patient-friendly manner while offering individualized recommendations for preventive care and lifestyle improvements.
- Review and interpret common diagnostic screenings, including cardiac testing, pulmonary function testing, hearing and vision assessments, and other routine wellness evaluations.
- Coordinate with nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient experience from intake through follow-up.
- Maintain timely and accurate medical documentation using the organization's electronic health record system.
- Perform occupational and pre-employment physicals when needed and determine whether candidates meet established medical requirements.
- Promote healthy living through education on nutrition, exercise, cardiovascular wellness, stress reduction, and other preventive health strategies.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or another Primary Care specialty.
- Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of New York.
- At least one year of clinical experience in a primary care or related setting.
- Comfortable working with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification is preferred but not required.
Compensation & Schedule
- $170-$190 per hour
- Part-time contract assignment
- Fridays, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Mid-September through the end of the year
