Duties
- Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify mechanical issues accurately using advanced tools and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles in optimal condition
- Execute automotive repairs including brake work, suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and mechanical repairs with attention to detail
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various repair tasks. Advanced diagnostic tools and specialty tools provided, basic personal tools required.
- Assist with automotive service tasks like tire service, wheel alignments, and general vehicle maintenance
- Support the service team by performing heavy lifting and other physical tasks necessary for vehicle servicing
- Perform basic fleet inspections, Perform emissions inspections with related license.
Skills
- Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair
- Solid mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment
- Experience with automotive fluid replacement, oil changes, tire services, and wheel alignments
- Ability to perform automotive maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude and clear communication abilities
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced environment
- ASE Certs / Texas State Emissions license a plus, reimbursement after attainment with 90 days of employment tenure.
Compensation based on book hours, Jobs structured through Identifix and Tekmetric. Pay based on experience with compensation discussed during interview.
