Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Working Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management skills, extensive site supervision experience, and a keen eye for safety and quality control. As a key leader on the project site, you will coordinate teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure adherence to all safety regulations and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations on the construction site, supervising crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Buildertrend construction management software, adjusting plans as needed to meet deadlines.
- Oversee project budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate implementation of design intent.
- Manage contracts and procurement processes, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations and project specifications.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to verify work meets safety standards (OSHA compliance) and quality expectations.
- Utilize tools such as Buildertrend construction management software for documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Supervise safety protocols on-site by enforcing OSHA regulations and conducting safety meetings to promote a safe working environment.
- Coordinate with project super, designers, and clients to facilitate smooth communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform routine site inspections and self perform some scope onsite.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising large-scale projects. Condominium remodeling experience required.
- Extensive hands-on construction site experience with an understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, budgeting.
- Strong knowledge of contracts management, budgeting, project scheduling, and quality control procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Supervising experience with a track record of managing multiple crews or subcontractors simultaneously.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
