American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB registration, and current ODH licensure for a 13-week travel assignment.

Works in a hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department serving both acute care inpatient and outpatient clinical locations
-
Performs nuclear medicine imaging procedures including PET/CT
-
5x8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
-
Saturday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM shifts as part of a PET rotation
-
On-call rotation every 4th week covering Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
-
Rotates within the department as needed

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
-
ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB registration required
-
Current Ohio Department of Health (ODH) licensure required if applicable

BLS certification through the American Heart Association required

Formal radiologic technology training from an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine program required

PET/CT experience or PET/CT advanced registry eligibility preferred

PET/CT advanced certification preferred

Two professional references required for consideration

Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Operates nuclear medicine equipment and all related instrumentation

Makes imaging decisions regarding technique, positioning, and radiation protection
-
Administers radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of a supervising Radiologist and documents appropriately, with awareness of potential adverse reactions

Practices sterile technique and cross-contamination prevention protocols

Maintains accurate records including proper labeling of images for interpretation
