Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Hours: 36 hours/week
Weekend: Every other weekend
Holiday: Rotating holiday coverage

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract assignment in Janesville, Wisconsin. The RT will provide respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients, manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation, respond to emergencies, and provide a wide range of cardiopulmonary therapies.
Responsibilities
- Perform respiratory therapies, assessments, and oxygen saturation checks.
- Initiate, monitor, evaluate, and wean invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
- Administer medications, oxygen, and aerosol treatments according to protocols.
- Assess patients before and after respiratory treatments and recommend appropriate therapy.
- Set up, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical ventilators and non-invasive ventilation equipment.
- Assist with emergency response, airway management, resuscitation, and ventilator support.
- Transport critically ill and mechanically ventilated patients within the hospital.
- Educate patients and families regarding respiratory therapies, medications, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection-control and safety standards.
- Provide respiratory care appropriate for adult and pediatric patients.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development.
Requirements
- Active Wisconsin Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- RRT – Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC)
- AHA BLS
- NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program
- Less than 1 year of experience accepted

Pay: $2,100.00 - $2,300.00 per week
