Facility Maintenance
The Facility Maintenance is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our buildings and the surrounding grounds. Their duties include sweeping, mopping, cleaning machines, sanitizing restroom facilities, mowing, weed eating, snow removal, light painting, simple repairs and collecting trash to ensure the building’s occupants have a clean space. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by requirements and business needs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Cleaning all floors
· Keeping the warehouse clean within AIB standards
· Changing air filters and cleaning vents
· Dusting all surfaces
· Waxing floors
· Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed
· Washing windows
· Maintaining a thorough inventory
· Using equipment, vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
· Collecting and taking out trash and recycling
· Picking up trash around the grounds
· Maintaining mowing, weed eating, snow shoveling/salting and the outside appearance.
· Clean and sanitize machinery, equipment, and surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
· Painting
· Light maintenance such as changing light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles, repairing minor items throughout the facility.
· Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Education and Experience:
· High school or equivalent (Preferred)
· Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team.
· Good communication skills to interact with supervisors and team members effectively.
· Willingness to follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Experience:
Janitorial: 1 years (Preferred)
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
