Job Summary**
Quick Lube Carolina LLC is seeking a Lube Technician to perform oil changes, preventive maintenance, and basic vehicle inspections for our customers in a fast-paced environment. This position involves ensuring vehicle reliability and customer satisfaction through efficient and thorough service.
Job Responsibilities**
- Perform oil and filter changes on various makes and models of vehicles.
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and lights.
- Top off essential fluids (windshield washer fluid, power steering fluid, etc.).
- Lubricate chassis components as required.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle service needs and recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Operate and maintain shop equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist in inventory management and stocking supplies.
Job Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience in automotive service, particularly oil changes, is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and components.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
