Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting parts and accessories for their tractors, mowers, construction pieces and small engines, providing expert advice on product features and compatibility.
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while managing cash handling responsibilities.
- Maintain inventory control by stocking, organizing, and tracking parts and accessories efficiently through inventory management systems.
- Collaborate with service technicians to identify repair needs through mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Support maintenance scheduling by coordinating appointments and ensuring timely order fulfillment of parts.
- Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, personalized service, and follow-up to ensure satisfaction.
- Manage parts sales, including upselling accessories and promoting additional services to enhance customer experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in diagnostics, repair, or parts sales within a dealership or retail environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of machine systems and parts management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, inventory management software, POS systems, and familiarity with repair processes.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in stock control, order fulfillment, and maintenance tasks.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with customers and suppliers while maintaining professional phone etiquette.
- Knowledge of retail math principles for sales transactions and inventory calculations.
- Experience with accessories sales, parts sales, and dealership operations is highly desirable.
