We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Child Care Director to lead and oversee our early
childhood education programs. In this vital role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality
childcare services that foster growth, development, and safety for children across various age
groups. You will coordinate staff, manage daily operations, and implement educational strategies
aligned with best practices in childhood development. Your leadership will create a nurturing
environment where children thrive, and families feel confident in our care.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that promote early childhood
education, including preschool, toddler care, infant care, and school age programs.
- Supervise and support teaching staff by providing guidance on classroom management,
behavior management, and child development instruction.
- Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws, health and safety regulations,
including pediatric first aid and first aid protocols.
- Oversee daily classroom activities to ensure a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment
for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
- Manage staff schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and facilitate ongoing
professional development in areas such as special education and childhood development.
- Maintain accurate records related to child progress, attendance, incident reports, and
licensing requirements.
- Foster positive relationships with families through regular communication, updates on
child progress, and addressing individual needs or concerns.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices in
childcare settings.
- Proven experience in classroom management, daycare operations, or preschool teaching
roles.
- Strong understanding of working with children of various ages, including infants,
toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child safety protocols such as pediatric first
aid.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while promoting a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with children, families, staff, and community
partners.

Pay: $47,790.89 - $57,554.62 per year
