Job Summary:
Manzana Products Co. is seeking a temporary, bilingual Recruiter to participate in staffing efforts for our new manufacturing plant in Sunnyside, WA. The Recruiter will work closely with our Sr. Human Resources Generalist, Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Director on recruitment efforts, including but not limited to: helping to develop strategic recruitment plans, participating in full-cycle hiring, and positioning Manzana company as an employer of choice in the local community. This role requires a professional advocate who represents our brand accurately while ensuring a highly positive, welcoming experience for all candidates. This is a temporary, 3–6 month assignment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Strategy: Help to develop and execute comprehensive recruitment plans to meet plant launch deadlines.

Branding: Position Manzana Products Co. as a top local employer of choice by providing a professional, transparent experience with accurate information to job applicants and selected candidates.

Experience: Provide a professional, supportive, respectful, and highly positive experience for all candidates.

Sourcing: Find local talent using job boards, social media, and community networks. Organize local job fairs and community open-house recruitment events.

Screening: Conduct initial phone screens and interviews in English and Spanish.

Interviewing: Coordinate in-person and/or MS Teams interviews with hiring managers. Solicit feedback from managers and provide recommendations to managers.
- Offers: Negotiate job offers and explain benefits package details to selected candidates.

Onboarding: Work with selected candidates to complete background check and drug screen. Work with new hires to complete first day paperwork and new hire training.

Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity using Manzana’s applicant tracking and HR system
Qualifications

Language: Fluent verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of recruitment experience, including developing hiring plans and offer negotiation.

Industry: Past experience in high-volume manufacturing, agriculture, or industrial staffing preferred.

Knowledge of Washington State employment laws and hiring practices

Skills: Exceptional candidate-care skills, professional diplomacy, highly organized, and strong negotiation abilities.

Tools: Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and modern sourcing platforms.

Experience with Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) preferred but not required.
