Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Install new HVAC equipment following schematics and technical specifications to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system inspections, and calibration to maximize efficiency.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC/R (refrigeration) diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems, including pipe fittings and drainage components.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for component repairs or modifications.
- Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs of all repairs, installations, and inspections performed in the field.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities; operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely when transporting equipment or parts.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC design, installation, and repair processes.
- Proven service technician experience in property maintenance or similar field service roles.
- Ability to read schematics accurately for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.
- Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) technology.
- Skilled in plumbing work related to HVAC applications; familiar with appliance repair techniques.
- Experience with welding techniques for repairing or fabricating components.
- Familiarity with boiler operation and maintenance; capable of handling complex equipment repair tasks.
- Basic driver’s license with a clean record for safe transportation of tools and parts. Pay: $52,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
