Larsen Supply Company is hiring an individual for an Outside Sales Representative Position to manage and develop retail hardware store sales, services, and merchandising in Northern California.
Larsen Supply Company is a nationwide plumbing product distributor. Our customers we serve include the nation’s top retail hardware companies such as ACE Hardware, True Value, Do-It-Best and many regional hardware stores.
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads. The Outside Sales Representative will also monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue. Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities:
· Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers
· Generate sales orders daily and submitting them to Customer Service
· Establish and foster strong relationships with key decision makers at the store and executive leadership level
· Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company's marketing presence
Outside Salesperson / Representative Requirements:
*Previous sales and marketing experience preferred.
*Previous merchandising and reset experience preferred.
*Retail hardware sales and plumbing experience preferred.
*Must be willing to perform some travel with overnights.
*Must be coachable
*Attention to detail and good work ethic.
*Reliable transportation
