We are currently seeking a hands-on Lead Welder to support our manufacturing operations. This role requires a skilled welder who can lead by example on the shop floor, supervise a small team, and ensure quality, productivity, and safety standards are consistently met.

- Pay Range: $24.00/hour (based on experience)
Qualifications
- Technical training or welding certification preferred
- Minimum 5–10 years of welding experience (MIG required)
- Previous experience leading or supervising a team strongly preferred
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Hands-on experience with fabrication and shop equipment
- Ability to work independently while managing team priorities
- Good communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
General job responsibilities and qualifications needed to perform the job include, but are not limited to:
- Perform MIG welding on fabricated metal components
- Ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and production orders
- Coordinate daily shop activities and support production scheduling
- Inspect welds and finished products to ensure compliance with requirements
- Troubleshoot fabrication and welding issues on the shop floor
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Train and mentor junior welders as needed
Physical demands:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Occasional pushing/pulling up to 200 ft-lb
