Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and painting various surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure durable finishes that meet high-quality standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality.
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using hand tools, brushes, rollers, or spray equipment such as airless or conventional sprayers.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and color schemes to accurately execute project specifications.
- Conduct surface testing and visual color comparisons to ensure consistency and precision in color matching.
- Perform maintenance tasks including fixture installation, drywall repair, masonry work like stucco or concrete finishing, and minor carpentry such as trim or frame carpentry.
- Follow safety regulations diligently by using appropriate respiratory protection and adhering to site-specific safety protocols during all phases of work.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople on construction sites to coordinate tasks efficiently and uphold quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting with a strong understanding of surface preparation techniques for both renovation and new builds.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, spray equipment (including airless paint sprayers), and welding tools as needed.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret technical drawings or schematics.
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to construction painting including respiratory protection measures.
- Skills in color theory for accurate color matching and visual inspection of finished surfaces.
- Experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of blueprint reading and schematics.
- Additional skills such as plastering, caulking, fixture installation, masonry work (stucco or concrete), remodeling experience, handyman skills, or industrial painting are highly desirable.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
