Leasing Agent
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour, negotiable based on experience
Schedule: Thursday through Monday
Garden Communities is seeking a professional, friendly, and motivated Leasing Agent for our residential community, Millbrook Village, located in Edison, NJ.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to communicate effectively with prospective and current residents. This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and being part of a busy property management environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet prospective residents and provide information about available apartments
- Conduct apartment tours and follow up with prospective applicants
- Answer phone calls, emails, and resident inquiries in a professional manner
- Assist with applications, lease paperwork, renewals, and move-in procedures
- Maintain accurate records and update leasing information as needed
- Support resident relations and assist with resident questions or concerns
- Assist with marketing efforts and maintain knowledge of apartment availability
- Work with the Property Manager and maintenance team to support daily operations
- Ensure all leasing activity follows company policies and Fair Housing guidelines
Qualifications
- Prior leasing or property management experience preferred
- Yardi experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills required
- Must be organized, professional, and dependable
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment
- Basic computer skills required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be available to work Thursday through Monday
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
