What You Will Do
- Maintain a working knowledge of aggregate and concrete batch plant operations and possess the mechanical ability and aptitude to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plants and equipment on a proactive, preventative basis.
- Maintain an inventory of necessary parts and order parts and materials to ensure repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Be experienced and proficient in arc welding (stick and wire) and the use of an oxy-acetylene cutting torch, or be willing to learn.
- Fabricate components using steel and a variety of other materials.
- Possess a working knowledge of 120-, 240-, and 480-volt electrical systems and perform basic plumbing repairs and installations.
- Perform work at elevated heights while using appropriate fall protection equipment.
- Work in tight or confined spaces.
- Wear a full-face respirator in dusty environments.
- Operate equipment such as loaders, backhoes, man lifts, forklifts, and other equipment as needed.
- Safely use basic hand tools and electric and pneumatic power tools.
- Perform physically demanding work in a variety of weather and environmental conditions.
- Ensure plants are lubricated in accordance with maintenance schedules and as needed.
- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
- Comply with all company safety rules and regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and lead by example in promoting a safe workplace.
- Be flexible to occasionally work after normal business hours, including some Saturdays.
What We Are Looking For
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Three to five years of mechanical experience in an industrial setting preferred.
- Valid Washington State driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record.

- Physical Stamina: Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds and work standing, kneeling, or in dirty and/or wet conditions for extended periods.
- Ability to travel to company locations throughout King, Pierce, Thurston, Mason, Kitsap, and Jefferson Counties.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner.
- Ability to pass required pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

Pre-Employment Requirements
