We are a local deli & cafe located in Baldwin Hills.
We are looking for a sandwich maker to help our team balance excellent customer service and excellent food. As a family business, we pride ourselves on both.
You will be a part of a small team so we need someone that is a reliable team player and works well under high pressure. The ideal candidate will be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare vegetables and other items for our sandwich lines
- Prepare custom sandwiches and salads per order
- Maintain a clean and orderly space
- Close the prep space and kitchen to the appropriate standards
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
Skills
- Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
- Ability to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
- Ability to work under pressure
- A team player with good communication skills
Requirements: Food Handler Certificate
Job Type: Full Time
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 10am to 5pm
Pay: starting at $19/hr + tips
