Duties:
- Perform data entry and file management tasks to maintain accurate and organized legal documents
- Proofread legal documents for grammar, spelling, and formatting errors
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings
- Utilize document management systems to store, retrieve, and update legal files
- Provide support to attorneys and paralegals
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate person using great customer service skills
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data entry, proofreading, and document management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective correspondence with clients, attorneys, and coworkers
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
