Pet Tech / Shift Lead
Bentley's Pawsome Resort is looking to add both Pet Technicians and Shift Leads to our team! If you enjoy working with dogs, staying active, and being part of a team that truly cares about the animals in our care, we'd love to hear from you.
Please note: Evening and weekend availability is required for both positions. If you're unable to work evenings and weekends, these positions will not be a good fit. General shifts include mornings, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Pet Technician
Our Pet Techs are the heart of our daily operations. This position is hands-on and includes caring for our daycare and boarding dogs throughout the day while helping keep the resort clean and running smoothly.
Some of the daily responsibilities include:
- Supervising daycare groups
- Taking dogs outside for potty breaks
- Feeding and watering dogs
- Cleaning kennels, daycare areas, suites, and the lobby
- Washing blankets and towels
- Watching dog behavior and making sure every pup is safe and comfortable
Shift Lead
Our Shift Leads help keep each day on track by supporting the manager, helping lead the Pet Tech team, and making sure daily tasks are completed. This role is perfect for someone with previous pet care experience who enjoys taking initiative and helping others.
Responsibilities include:
- Helping oversee the daily schedule
- Supporting and assisting Pet Techs throughout the shift
- Organizing daycare groups and kennel assignments
- Opening or closing the resort depending on the shift
- Making sure daily tasks are completed
- Jumping in wherever help is needed, whether that's with daycare, boarding, or cleaning
What we're looking for
- Reliable and dependable
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Someone who genuinely enjoys working with dogs
- Able to stay active throughout the shift and lift up to 25 pounds
Previous pet care experience is preferred for both positions, and leadership experience is preferred for the Shift Lead role.
