We are a provider of workplace safety & compliance training for businesses. We have an immediate need for freelance bilingual Sr. safety trainers to conduct forklift, aerial lift trainings as well as other workplace safety topics throughout California. We have openings in Los Angeles County, Orange County, Inland Empire, and San Diego Counties. Must live locally.
We are interested in working with candidates that have a strong knowledge of OSHA and ANSI compliance standards and requirements as well as a solid background working in industrial, manufacturing, and warehousing environments. As a trainer, you have multiple years training groups of different sizes, you have the ability to engage trainees in theoretical and hands-on concepts and make safety topics exciting, fun, and interesting. Also, you have experience training others in the following equipment:
Forklifts:
- Sit down counterbalanced
- Stand-up / reach
- Order picker
- Electric pallet jack
- Turret lift
Aerial lifts:
Additional requirements:
- Bilingual Spanish
Added bonus if you have any of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Safety consulting experience
- OSHA 500, 501
- Experienced in dealing with OSHA citations and appeals
- Creating safety training materials (IIPP’s, and written safety programs)
- Risk management experience
- Workers comp experience
