Daly Seven is seeking an experienced and self-driven Corporate Maintenance Technician to support our growing portfolio of Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Hyatt, and Best Western properties. This traveling position is essential to maintaining property excellence, operational safety, and brand compliance across our hotels. The Corporate Maintenance Technician travels across assigned regional properties to handle complex mechanical repairs, execute preventative maintenance (PM) programs, perform high-level troubleshooting, and assist hotel-level maintenance teams during peak times.

Perform complex maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on HVAC systems (including PTAC/VTAC units, chillers, and split systems), commercial plumbing, electrical systems, and commercial kitchen/laundry equipment.
- Conduct structural and interior repairs including drywall restoration, commercial painting, tile work, locks/door hardware, and furniture repair.
- Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot pool filtration systems, water chemistry, and safety equipment.
- Travel regularly to assigned Daly Seven properties to provide hands-on technical support and resolve escalated maintenance issues.
- Serve as an emergency responder for critical site-level facility failures (e.g., pipe bursts, major power/HVAC outages, severe structural issues).
- Fill short-term coverage gaps for property Chief Engineers during leaves of absence or open staffing periods.
- Execute Preventative Maintenance (PM) audits and programs to maximize the lifespan of property assets, guest rooms, and building envelopes.
- Assist property teams in preparing for Quality Assurance Inspections and safety compliance reviews.
- Ensure all work adheres to local building codes, OSHA standards, and hotel brand specifications.
- Oversee and support property-level renovation tasks, capital improvement projects, and vendor work (e.g., roofing, elevator maintenance, fire alarm testing).
- Maintain accurate inventory, tool tracking, and detailed digital work-order logs across visited properties.
- Train and mentor property-level maintenance personnel on technical skills, safety protocols, and proper repair techniques.
Experience: Minimum of 5–6 years of progressive maintenance experience, ideally in hospitality, commercial facilities, or multi-family residential housing.
Licensing & Certifications:
Technical Proficiency: Strong diagnostic and repair abilities in HVAC, commercial plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and pool mechanics.
Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel 60%–80% (via company vehicle) across portfolio of 40+ hotel properties, including occasional overnight stays.
Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills, strong time management, and the ability to work independently with minimal daily oversight. Excellent communication skills when interacting with General Managers, corporate leadership, and external contractors.
Physical & Logistics Requirements:
Must hold a valid Driver’s License with a clean motor vehicle record.
Ability to lift/carry up to 50–75 lbs, climb ladders, maneuver in small spaces, and stand or bend for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation.
The schedule for the Corporate Maintenance Technician will typically be Monday through Friday, 8AM-5PM with a one hour break for lunch. The Corporate Maintenance Technician schedule is not to exceed 40 hours per week unless authorized by the Supervisor. This position requires travel to our properties in VA, NC, and SC. Occasionally, you will be expected to stay overnight at one of our properties.
