Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient communication between front and back of house
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to uphold high standards of quality and cleanliness
- Buss tables promptly, clear dishes, and maintain cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a sanitary environment
- Support kitchen staff by handling food safety procedures, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during cashiering duties and process payments efficiently
- Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest bookings and optimize seating arrangements
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant settings, or hospitality is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience working in fine dining or nightclub environments is advantageous but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling opportunities
