Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray, CT, PET scan, and sonography equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order
- Follow protocols and guidelines to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis
- Adhere to aseptic technique and infection control protocols
Requirements:
- Valid certification as an X-ray Technician
- Proficient in performing X-ray, CT, PET scan, and sonography procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control practices
- Ability to operate and maintain imaging equipment effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in obtaining images
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
