ECC Corrosion, Inc., a manufacturer of composite tanks, piping and other products located in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, seeks reliable individuals to perform general labor both in its plant and on-site at customer locations. Opportunity to learn composites manufacturing and earn excellent wages and premiums. No experience necessary, only a willingness to work. Fiberglass, industrial, painting, carpentry, welding, pipe-fitting and auto-body finishing experience are all helpful, but not required.
Starting pay new employees without prior experience is $18.80/hour excluding shift and field premiums. New employees with fiberglass, industrial, production, and finishing experience can make up to $27.12/hour depending on experience. New employees without experience can earn more as they gain experience, learn composites manufacturing and progress to higher pay grades. ECC pays an additional $6.50/hour for work performed at customer locations. Shift premiums and tool allowances are also available.
Skills Required: - Use of measurement tools such tape measures, rulers, levels and scales- Use of hand tools, portable power tools and equipment (knives, scissors, grinders, saws, drills, rollers)- Reading and comprehending blueprints and specifications a plus (including multi-view drawings)- Organizational, analytical and communication skills (verbal and written)- Read and interpret standard operating procedures and instructions- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in basic units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
