Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Body Shop Manager to lead our collision repair operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily body shop activities, coordinate repair processes, and ensure high standards of quality and safety. Your leadership will drive efficiency, customer satisfaction, and team development in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the body shop operations, including workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Supervise technicians and support staff to ensure timely completion of vehicle repairs while maintaining quality standards
- Oversee vehicle assessments, repair planning, and estimates to deliver accurate timelines and cost controls
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry best practices
- Maintain strong communication with customers, insurance adjusters, and vendors to facilitate smooth repair processes
- Monitor inventory levels of tools, parts, and supplies; coordinate procurement as needed
- Promote a positive team environment through coaching, training, and performance evaluations
Requirements
- Proven experience or automotive repair management background
- Strong mechanical knowledge of auto body repair techniques and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, auto painting equipment, auto glass installation tools, and detailing supplies
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy shop setting
- Experience with auto restoration projects and automotive repair processes
- Knowledge of auto body repair standards, auto painting techniques, and auto glass replacement procedures
- Mechanic experience or technical training in automotive repair is highly desirable

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
