Role: Senior QA Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer with 8–12 years of experience in manual and automation testing of web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in functional testing, UI component validation, content management systems, API testing, accessibility compliance, and automation frameworks. The role requires the ability to lead quality initiatives, mentor team members, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Lead end-to-end testing activities for Web and Mobile applications.
- Analyze business requirements and prepare comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Validate UI components built using Storybook, ensuring design consistency, functionality, and usability.
- Test content authored in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for correctness, rendering, personalization, localization, and publishing workflows.
- Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools, including request/response validation, error handling, and integration testing.
- Conduct Accessibility (A11Y) testing following WCAG standards using browser tools, keyboard navigation, screen readers, and accessibility validation tools.
- Identify, document, prioritize, track, and verify defects throughout their lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, UI/UX Designers, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, backlog refinement, release planning, and production validation activities.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing standards, and best practices.
Requirements
What Makes You the Perfect Fit?
- 8–12 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong experience in Manual Testing for Web and Mobile applications.
- Extensive experience with UI/UX Storybook Testing and component-level validation.
- Hands-on experience testing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) content and publishing workflows.
- Strong experience in REST API Testing using Postman, Swagger, or equivalent tools.
- Solid knowledge of Accessibility Testing (WCAG 2.1/2.2, ARIA, keyboard navigation, screen readers, color contrast validation).
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Defect Lifecycle, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Playwright or other UI automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, WebdriverIO, etc.).
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python for automation scripting.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cross-browser, cross-device, and responsive testing.
- Exposure to performance, security, and visual regression testing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- ISTQB Foundation/Advanced Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
- Agile/Scrum certification is an added advantage.
