Position Summary:
The Area Manager will report directly to Regional Manager and will be responsible for overseeing all operations within the assigned area. This position will ensure efficient and effective management of regional activities while maintaining strong communication with key departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all operational activities within the assigned area.
- Supervise and support regional staff including drivers, mechanics, and administrative personnel.
- Ensure daily operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Coordinate regularly with internal departments including Accounting, Dispatch, HSE (Health, Safety & Environment), and Human Resources.
- Monitor staffing, scheduling, and performance to maintain high operational standards.
- Address operational issues and implement solutions to improve productivity and service quality.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to company HSE standards.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and development opportunities for regional staff.
- Meet with staff to ensure consistency with company policy and procedure and other issue resolutions.
- Additional responsibilities may be added as needed.

Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of trucking industry along with prior management experience.
- Effective communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to maintain cooperative and productive demeanor.
- Knowledge of basic math skills for measuring, calculating, quoting, and verifying accurate invoicing.
- Required travel as needed.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Good working knowledge of computer systems; Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlooks, etc.

Education / Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with trucks and logistics REQUIRED
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience REQUIRED

Pay: $130,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
