Job Summary:
The Game Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, and repairing electronic and mechanical components, as well as aiding users. The Game Technician is also responsible for the overall functionality and upkeep of gaming equipment.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Performing regular checks to ensure machines are in good working order.
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with games and hardware.
- Fixing broken or malfunctioning equipment, including hardware and software.
- Ensuring games are functioning correctly, including testing for glitches, errors, and overall gameplay.
- Setting up new gaming equipment.
- Maintaining records of repair, maintenance, and other relevant information.
- Assisting users, addressing their questions, and resolving issues.
- Maintaining and organizing supplies and parts.
- Ensuring a safe work environment and adhering to safety protocols.
- Performs other assignments as requested.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in using and operating a multimeter
- Basic electronic troubleshooting skills
- Prior arcade game repair experience (preferred)
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet navigation
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, flowcharts, memos, and short correspondence
- Effective verbal and written communication of technical information, especially when working with manufacturers and distributors to resolve issues efficiently
Education & Experience:
- 5+ years experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
- Proven experience in game development, including working on projects.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift or move game machines, equipment, or supplies weighing.
- May involve working with small parts, tools, or circuitry, requiring dexterity and precision in manipulating objects with the hands and fingers.
- May need to stand or walk for extended periods to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment.
- Some tasks may involve repetitive movements of the hands, arms, or legs.
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
