We are seeking a caring, dependable, and engaging Elementary Tutor to provide early development support while ensuring a safe, positive, and structured environment for all students.
Teachers/Tutors able to take on multiple roles will be prioritized.
Responsibilities:
- Provide small group tutoring for elementary students (grades K–5) in reading, writing, math, and other core subjects as needed.
- Reinforce classroom instruction and help students strengthen foundational skills.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to meet learning goals.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, and student performance.
Requirements:
- Previous tutoring, teaching, childcare, or mentoring experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of elementary-level math, reading, writing, and other core academic subjects.
- Patient, dependable, and enthusiastic with a passion for helping children succeed.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
JobType:
- Part time (with opportunity to become full time);
- Flexible work schedule with 1-on-1 tutoring;
Pay:
- $20.00 - $35.00 per hour (depending on experience and subject)
Schedule:
- After school tutoring schedule is Monday to Friday, 3pm to 6pm.
- 1-on-1 tutoring flexible between Monday to Saturday
