Gardenia in Los Gatos, CA is the flagship location for Gardenia Coffee Inc. Nestled in a historic Victorian style mansion, Gardenia is situated in a prime location – the heart of bustling Los Gatos downtown.
We provide patrons with delectable brunch, HH and dinner, exceptional service & hospitality. Along with the food, we also offer the finest beverages with a focus on distinctive coffee, wine and cocktails.
We are looking to expand our team with people who are just as passionate about our mission as we are. We aim to host patrons in a space with a pleasant and warm ambience. Gardenia will serve as a community hub for locals and visitors alike, helping foster genuine connection through weekly events and neighboring partners.
Host requirement:
- Host Experience: Strong ability to handle rotation of servers, assign and manage reservations and server sections.
- Manage waitlist efficiently
- Experience working with OpenTable.
- Friendly and professional when addressing guests in person or over the phone.
- Have a proficient knowledge of our menus and be able to answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant services.
- Perform side work through out each shift
- Ability to take payment and manage cash payments
- Restaurant experience (1+ year preferred)
- Must have mornings and weekend availability
We are looking for those with Hosting experience but willing to train those without if they possess the right attitude and ambition to learn and grow!
