Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation Paralegal to join our Boca Raton office. This is a very fast-paced position handling 80–120 active personal injury cases at a time. You must excel at managing high-volume files, moving cases aggressively toward resolution, and thriving under pressure. This position is in-office only — remote applicants will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Manage 80–120 active personal injury cases from intake through settlement.
- Maintain proactive and frequent communication with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters.
- Order, track, and summarize medical records and bills.
- Ensure strict compliance with deadlines, statutes, and firm protocols.
- Draft and prepare comprehensive settlement demand packages with detailed medical chronologies.
- Assist attorneys with case evaluation, negotiation strategy, and claim preparation.
- Coordinate reductions with medical providers after settlement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of personal injury pre-litigation experience (Florida preferred).
- Proven success in a very fast-paced, high-volume personal injury environment.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, bodily injury claims, and insurance processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle urgent deadlines and competing priorities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Aderant (ATO) and/or Filevine case management software is preferred but not mandatory.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
- Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to client success.
